Fortnite Find the Force Quests and Rewards

Mar 28, 2023Mar 28, 2023

Your training has only just begun. Star Wars is back in Fortnite, and this time it is at a whole other level. Complete quests during the Find the Force event to earn Galactic Reputation and grind your way towards unlocking unique Star Wars rewards.

Learn how to use Force Skills and wield a Lightsaber from Jedi and Sith masters by using Rift Gates that appear randomly throughout your Battle Royale matches. The more Star Wars-themed activities you participate in during the Find the Force event, the more currency you will earn towards unlocking the Storm Trooper or Darth Maul Outfits.

Ready to begin? On this page of IGN's Fortnite wiki guide, you can find a complete list of all Fortnite Find the Force Quests and all Star Wars rewards you can unlock during this event.

There are a total of four sets of "Find the Force" Quests which will be available to complete during this Stars Wars crossover event.

Complete each task to earn Galactic Reputation. Galactic Reputation is an event-exclusive currency that can be used to unlock Free or Premium rewards along the "Find the Force" rewards progression track. You can view your current progress by selecting the "Galactic Reputation" tab from the Lobby, squished right between "Play" and "Battle Pass" tabs.

After completing 12 tasks within a set of "Find the Force" Quests, you will unlock a Sith Holocron. Earn a total of Sith Holocrons (by completing at least 36 Find the Force Quests) and you will automatically unlock the Sith Infiltrator Glider.

Each set of Find the Force Quests will become available at a later date throughout the Star Wars x Fortnite crossover event, ending on May 23, 2023 at 9 AM ET.

Here are all the currently available Find the Force Quests in Fortnite and how to complete them:

Take a little Galactic Reputation just for getting started! Land at least five times while playing any Fortnite match during the Find the Force event and unlock some easy Reputation.

So, you are ready to learn the ways of the Force in Fortnite... how do you get started? You can learn Force abilities from Star Wars character holograms that appear at random throughout your Battle Royale matches. Hop inside the Rift Gate these characters open once you talk with them, and return with a Lightsaber and unique Force Skills.

Where do you find Rift Gates? Look for any of the three Lightsaber Icons (Green, Blue, or Red) to appear on your map at random during a match. From that spot, you will also be able to see a beacon of light of that matching color. Approach the location to talk with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, or Darth Maul. Interact with the hologram to open up the Rift Gate and step inside.

A new type of Loot Chest can be discovered only during this Find the Force event: Republic Chests. These Loot Chests are more likely to contain the Star Wars DC-15 Blaster Weapons. You can find Republic Chests inside Republic tents which have appeared just for the Find the Force event.

Look for tents with Republic Chests at the following locations:

There's nothing wrong with hiring a little help. You can find plenty of Characters in Fortnite, including several NPCs that you can hire and take with you on your adventures. These Hirable Characters can provide assistance such as fetching you ammo, consumables, or even fighting alongside you.

It's not easy to go toe-to-toe with a Jedi master. But if you can land some shots on enemy players wielding a Lightsaber or DC-Blaster (or snag a Lightsaber of your own), you stand a chance at completing this task.

While holding a Lightsaber, players can use it to block incoming fire. Flank behind opponents using a Lightsaber to deal some damage.

Become a destructive force, for better or worse. While wielding a Lightsaber or DC-15 Blaster, destroy some of the objects and structures in your environment to wreak a little havoc.

If you manage to obtain Force Skills from Darth Maul, you can even use your Force to pick up and hurl objects in the environment to deal destruction with a little extra flair.

A good Jedi always comes prepared. Drop into any Named Location on Battle Royale Island and loot at least 250 ammo before heading off into battle.

Did you know that the Kinetic Ore found at Shattered Slabs can be launched through the air? When you strike a slab of Kinetic Ore, it stores up that energy and then launches in the direction opposite the side you hit it from.

Use a Lightsaber or even a DC-15 Blaster to strike five Kinetic Ore at Shattered Slabs, and watch them fly!

There's nothing quite like talking a stroll under the moonlight. The time of day will change at random in a Battle Royale match. Wait until the sun has set and the sky is dark, before setting out on foot. Travel at least 500m to complete this challenge.

If you sprint while it is nighttime, you can count this activity towards the "Travel 1,000 distance while sprinting" challenge as well!

If you are tired of walking on foot, it's time to grab a ride. You can find vehicles such as Nitro Drifters, Rogue Bikes, and Dirt Bikes throughout Battle Royale Island. Look for vehicles around Drift Ridge or any of the gas stations, as these are locations where vehicles are guarenteed to spawn.

It's all about survival. There are twelve Storm Phases in each Battle Royale match in Fortnite. If you can survive until the very end every time, you can make some significant progress towards completing this task and all of its stages.

There's a whole lot of Island to travel. Sprint from place to place while shooting and survivng your Fortnite matches to complete all stages of this Find the Force Quest. Keep an eye out for Slap Juice barrels and bottles. Consuming Slap Juice will temporarily stop your Stamina from draining, allowing you to sprint for longer.

The Clone Troopers have stationed themselves all around Battle Royale, ready to assault any travelers. You can recognize the Clone Trooper checkpoints by the dome-like white tents and concrete barricades grouped together.

You can find the Clone Trooper checkpoints in Fortnite:

For this objective, you only technically need to make a pitstop to check off the task. But while you are here, if you engage with any of the Clone Troopers you might be able to check off some other Find the Force Quests as well!

DC-Blasters are a new Legendary tier weapon exclusive to the Find the Force Star Wars crossover in Fortnite. During the vent, you can find DC-15 Blasters in Republic Loot Chests, located in white tents at Clone Trooper checkpoints, or by eliminating a Clone Trooper and stealing their dropped DC-15 Blaster on death.

Did you know that by interacting with any of the Star Wars holograms that spawn at random, and hopping into a Rift Gate, you gain not only a Lightsaber but a unique Force ability?

No matter what Jedi or Sith hologram you talk with, you will always gain the ability to Force Jump (or double jump). You can use your Force Jump ability to reach all sorts of tall platforms and places, including the Grind Rails located in Shattered Slabs, Slappy Shores, and Mega City!

Once you Force Jump your way onto a grind rail, why not go for a little spin? Ride the grind rail for a total of 200m to check off this challenge. You can even sprint while on the grind rail to make this task go a little faster. You can find grind rails at:

Since you have your sights set on that Victory Royale, why not elminate the competition? You can find Bounty Boards all over Battle Royale island in Chapter 4 Season 2. By interacting with a Bounty Board, you can pick up a "bounty" on another enemy player. With a bounty active, you can see a yellow circle on your mini-map, indicating the general area your target is located.

Collect two bounties and eliminate your targets successfully, or evade being killed while a bounty is targeting you, to complete this quest.

Nothing quite like riding around Battle Royale Island in style. While riding in a vehicle, you can earn some Trick Points by performing manuevers such as catching "air time", or soaring through the air for a certain amount of time.

The best way to catch some air time is to score yourself a Rogue or Trick Bike. These vehicles can be found almost anywhere in Fortnite, but you are guarenteed to find a motorcycles at either Drift Ridge north of MEGA City, in MEGA City itself, or near any of the gas stations.

Drive yourself off cliff edges for the best chance of catching long air time moments.

While you are busy catching some air on your Rogue Bike or Trick Bike, keep the vibes going for a while. Drive around for a total of 327m while on a motorcycle to accomplish this task.

During the Star Wars x Fortnite crossover event, you can find holograms appearing at random all over Battle Royale Island. By talking with these holograms, a Rift Gate will open, and when you step inside you return with not just a Lightsaber but with a unique Force ability.

Once you have acquired your new powers, find a vehicle and use these abilities to push, pull, or lift a vehicle through the air.

Timber Pines are different from your average, everyday pine tree. These hulking giants grow taller and thicker than other pine trees, and when you cut down a Timber Pine it turns into a massive timber log that will deal damage to anyone struck by it.

Make a tour of Battle Royale Island while the Star Wars crossover is here! To complete this challenge, you will need to visit at least nine different Named Locations on the map. Named Locations are just that. These "Points of Interest" are the biggest named areas on the map.

There are a total of twelve Named Locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2:

Stop by any of the three Clone Trooper checkpoints in Battle Royale Island and collect DC-15 Blasters from the Republic Loot Chests there or from fallen Clone Troopers. Use your DC-15 Blaster to deal some damage to enemy players while you competing for control of the checkpoint to complete this challenge.

Unable to find a DC-15 Blaster? No worries, you can also check this task off using any tier rarity Assault Rifle.

Once you have that DC-15 Blaster from one the Clone Trooper checkpoints, use it to take down at least five enemy players.

Clone Troopers might be infamous for their horrible aim, but that doesn't mean the DC-15 Blaster isn't capable of hitting the mark. Hit 38 headshots while you wield the DC-15 Blaster to check off this quest.

There are three different Force abilities you can acquire by visiting Rift Gates that appear at random during the Star Wars x Fortnite crossover event:

Use any of these three abilities on five different opponents after acquiring a Lightsaber and Force abilities from a Rift Gate.

Those Rift Gates are in hot demand. If you can be the first one to talk to a Star Wars hologram and enter a Rift Gate, return with your new Lightsaber and chop down any opponent players who tried to beat you to it!

Otherwise, you can look for the nearest Named Location and hope to find some players within the next ten seconds.

Even while using the Force for "good", you might end up doing some damage. Destroy a total of 66 objects using one of the three Force abilities to accomplish this task.

The easiest Force abilities for destroying objects are Darth Maul's or Obi-Wan Kenobi's. If you are creative enough, you can figure out how to damage objects whether you are able to push, pull, or lift them with the Force!

The Empire is on the rise, as is Sith Lord Darth Vader. You can now found Darth Vader in a special Clone Trooper checkpoint at the far north side of the island, northwest from Brutal Bastion. If you can eliminate Darth Vader despite his powerful Force abilities and Clone Trooper entourage, you can complete this challenge.

Sprinting isn't the only way to get around Battle Royale Island quickly. Slide down slopes and valleys to build up speed. Do so with a Lightsaber or DC-15 Blaster - found from either a Rift Gate or Clone Trooper checkpoint respectively - to fulfill this challenge.

You can find Clone Troopers camped out at Clone Trooper checkpoints at the following locations:

You can also find some Troopers stationed by concrete barricades on roadways near these checkpoints. Eliminate two Clone Troopers to complete this quest.

Start of the match by dropping into a Clone Trooper checkpoint and snag yourself a DC-15 Blaster. Alternatively, play it safe and wait for a Rift Gate to appear at random near you so you can score a Lightsaber.

Once you have either a Lightsaber or DC-15 Blaster, you just need to survive a total of five storm circles to complete this challenge.

Time to draw first blood. To deal damage to an opponent within the first thirty seconds of landing, pick a spot to drop that is "hot". You will find that during the Star Wars crossover event that the Clone Trooper checkpoints and Darth Vader's camp are popular places for enemy players to drop.

You may also find that more opponents drop in "hot drops", or Named Locations highlighted by yellow text. POIs indicated with yellow text are chosen at random each map, and loot at these locations are more likely to contain high tier loot! Hence the higher amount of players dropping there.

It's harder to hit a target that's moving, and even harder to hit a target that ducks out of your line of sight. While engaged in fights with enemy players, try sliding down slopes or crouching behind objects to make yourself harder to hit. Deal at least 250 damage while doing this and you have checked off this task.

Time to make another tour of the island. Besides Named Locations on the map, you can find plenty of smaller "Landmarks" scattered between each location, including gas stations and smaller clusters or buildings. Visit at least three of these Landmarks.

The fastest way to make your way across a wide gap or up a tall structure is to use an Ascender or Zipline. You can find these horizontal and vertical ziplines all around Battle Royale Island, but one location where you will find plenty is MEGA City.

Tons of Ascenders can be found around MEGA City to climb to the top stories of each skyscraper. Travel to MEGA City at night and ride some Ascenders to the tippy-top to quickly get this challenge done.

Hey, while you are already on top of one of the MEGA City buildings after riding an Ascender for the last challenge, why not camp out to deal some damage? You can stand on any structure or landscape to complete this quest, so long as you are "above" the enemy player you are dealing damage to.

It's time to rack up those kills! If you want to guarentee you get three kills in a single match, why not challenge yourself by dropping somewhere "hot". You are likely to find a lot of enemy players dropping at Clone Trooper checkpoints during the Star Wars crossover event.

Keep an eye out for "hot drop" Locations as well! These are Named Locations labeled with yellow text on your map, where the loot pool is more likely to include high tier loot.

Prove yourself worthy of a Jedi Master. Deal three different rounds of Lightsaber damage to complete this quest. If you can't get your hands on a Lightsaber, you can also use your Harvesting Tool (or Pickaxe) to count towards this challenge.

Lightsabers and DC-15 Blasters are best at dealing damage from close-range. Deal as much damage as you can within 10 meters of enemy players.

You fought Darth Vader and the Clone Troopers, and now it's time to retreat and rest. Make pitstops at two of the most relaxing Landmarks on Battle Royale Island: Moment's Rest and Restful Retreat. You can find Restful Retreat on a small island along the east coast, directly north of Knotty Nets.

Moment's Rest is a small pond surrounded by bamboo to the east of Knotty Nets and north of Kenjutsu Crossing.

While you are frequenting either Restful Retreat or Moment's Rest, why not relax with a little fishing? You can often find wooden barrels filled with Fishing Rods near most bodies of water, including the coasts, lakes, rivers, and ponds.

You will notice small pods of fish in these bodies of water. While holding a Fishing Rod in your inventory, throw your line into the circle of fish to catch one fish.

Sometimes you need to take a moment to recharge. To gain 200 shields, you will need to fill up your shield meter not just once, but twice. Remember to use two Mini Shields Potions first before you down a Big Shield Potion! You can only use two Minis to gain shields with a previously empty shield meter.

We all take hits every now and again. Restore up to 75 health to check off this challenge! You can restore health in Fortnite in various ways, from using Bandages, Medkits, Chug Splash, Shield Kegs, Med-Mist, or even by consuming food such as Bananas!

If you are having trouble getting your health low enough naturally to restore up to 75 health, you can also jump off a small height to knock your HP down a peg. Just be careful how high you jump from.

You can find small Campfires all over Battle Royale Island! By interacting with a Campfire, you can light it aflame. Standing near a Campfire slowly regains your Health. Look for Campfires in more "woodsy" areas, particularly in the autumn and summer biomes.

Your go-to might be Medkits and Bandages, but you can find all sorts of food in Fortntie by searching special containers such as ice machines, coolers, or produce boxes.

If you're not sure where to find these containers, you will find that they are often very contextual placed. For example, you are likely to find lots of produce boxes in Frenzy Fields, or ice machines in gas stations!

Gold is king, even in Fortnite. You can collect Gold bars while playing Fortnite a bunch of different ways, including looting Cash Registers and accessing Vaults, though you will often find some Gold Bars randomly from Loot Chests as well.

Once you have some Gold saved up, you can spend it many different ways. Why not hire a Character, or buy a weapon or item from a Character or Vending Machine? Not only will you accomplish this quest, but you will gain some useful tools for winning your match.

The Battle Bus driver does so much for us, you should say thank you before you drop into battle. Thank the bus driver three different times to complete this quest.

By default, "Thank the bus driver" is bound to "B" for PC players. On consoles (including Playstation and Xbox), "Thank the bus driver" is bound to "down on the D-Pad" by default.

A good swim is always refreshing. Swim a total of 250m distance to check off this task. You can swim for quite some distance in larger and longer bodies of water, such as rivers or lakes.

Did you know that you can unlock high tier weapons from Holo-Chest in Fortnite? These unique Loot Chests require Holo-Keys to unlock them, and each Holo-Chest is guarenteed to have a high tier weapon inside.

You can find Holo-Keys a couple different ways:

We recommend stopping by CRZ-8 to buy some Holo-Keys using Gold Bars. Once you have a Holo-Key in your inventory, any nearby Holo-Chests will be marked on your minimap. Open a Holo-Chest in two different matches to complete this challenge!

You can find all the Star Wars crossover rewards under the "Galactic Reputation" tab in the Lobby. You can unlock Free Rewards by completing Find the Force Quests and earning Galactic Reputation. You can also upgrade to the Premium Reward Track for 1,000 V-Bucks, and earn extra Star Wars rewards from the Premium Reward Track.

Here are all the Find the Force rewards you can earn from the Free and Premium rewards tracks:
