Natural color is achieved by boiling with H2O2 in hot water, a process to bleach and remove sugar, starch from the bamboo. Unlike caramel, which is a warm tone, natural color is more white, and has a cool feeling.Horizontal grain shows the knots of bamboo, just like the knuckles on our hand, horizontal bamboo is made by using wider bamboo strips laminated together to form a board, all the bamboo strips used are in the width of 21mm to 21,6mm. whereas vertical grain shows narrower bamboo strips, and width of strips ranging from 5mm to 6.8mm.
